Your print and TV ads are too rehearsed.
You are not talking to the people you are talking to the camera.
The newspaper ad says what???
Please ditch the graphs and the numbers and give the people examples.
Remember Washington DC is far away. Many people do not even understand the
role of the Delegate.
Tell me why I should vote for you.
Tell the people why they should look beyond skin color and
ethnic background and elect you.
Why should the VI people trust you (a newcomer)?
What can you do that the delegate has not?
Putting food on people's plate is a good line...
but not enough to convince people that you will not eat the prime rib and throw
the fat trimmings at them.
Issues that are close to people's heart are education,
health and their ability to pay their bills.
No one, regardless of their education level or IQ wants to fail.
No one wants to watch their children fail because the government fell short on
its promise to educate them.
No one wants to live (for generations and generation) in housing communities.
People want to do better. People deserve to do better.
We are all interconnected and our collective strength is what can move us
together into a better and promising future.
Leadership is the desire to serve.
And that service must be unselfish.
Speak from your heart.
I hope that you are not offended by this email.
My intentions are good.
I wish you luck in the election.
I will vote for you and so will my friends and family (who I can influence).
Thank you.
