1 I will hire experienced experts in federal grants and aid, on my federal staff, at federal expense, to identify all available programs, and work with our Department of Education, Police Department, and all other USVI government executives to get through the maze of federal paperwork so we can participate in the benefits of all available federal programs. 2 I will use the avenues provided by Congress to bring in the right new businesses that will provide high salary and high quality jobs, and directly pay hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes to the USVI, so we can afford to educate our children, provide for public safety, fix our public works, and bring our financial crisis to an end3 By using my 30 years of experience in the world's financial markets we can save millions of dollars in interest expense and millions of dollars in corporate finance fees to help pay for the teachers, and schools, and police officers, and infrastructure we so desperately need.
